Of course I love and adore 3 major things --- my family, friends, and my dogs (my dogs are family, yo).  But what about the little things that often go unnoticed?  Or the things that put a smile on my face for being so simple?  I decided to make a list of 50 things that are super amazing and post them here.  I'll probably be doing a 50 Things I Really Dislike list soon, so keep an eye out for that.  I'm just real bored right now and decided this would be an interesting way to fill the boring time.

Dawson's Creek, The O.C., and Everwood

Three of my all-time favorite shows are Dawson's Creek, The O.C., and Everwood. I have this lovely theory that like 99% of television shows ever can relate back to one of the three (okay not EVER and not 99%, but you get the picture). There's this fun game lately where whenever I'm watching a TV show and an actor or actress from one of those old shows is on another show I yell out whatever show they're from (like last night on Glee, Sarah Drew from Everwood was on and I yelled "EVERWOOD"). Pretty sure I look like a dork. Anyway.... here's a little break down...

Treat Williams (Everwood's Dr. Andy Brown) was on Brothers & Sisters. Emily VanCamp (Everwood's Amy Abbott) is now currently on Brothers & Sisters. The wonderful Chris Pratt (Everwood's Bright Abbott) was not only on The O.C. (he played Che), but he is now currently on the show Parks & Recreation. Scott Wolf (Everwood's Jake Hartman) is now on the show V. Sarah Drew (Hannah Rogers on Everwood) was on last night's episode of Glee... oh and she's also the second cousin of Ben McKenzie (who was on The O.C., but we will get to that in a minute).  Tom Amandes (Everwood's Dr. Harold Abbott) was on a few episodes of the newly canceled Eastwick (also guest starred on Private Practice and Greek).  Marcia Cross played Linda Abbott (Dr. Brown's love interest) on Everwood and is now on Desperate Housewives.  Brenda Strong also played Dr. Brown's deceased wife Julia on Everwood and is on Desperate Housewives as the voice of Mary Alice.  Nora Zehetner (Layne on Everwood) was on both Heroes and Grey's Anatomy.  Dylan Walsh (Carl Feeny on Everwood) is now on Nip/Tuck (as is Kelly Carlson who guest starred on Everwood... she's also been on Melrose Place).  James Earl Jones (Will Cleveland on Everwood) is epic and you know he's been in like everything (recently he guest starred on House).

Ben McKenzie (Ryan Atwood on The O.C.) is on the show Southland (which recently was given the axe). Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts on The O.C.) was on Chuck for a few episodes (and Sarah Lancaster who played Ephram's baby mama Madison on Everwood is a main character on the show). Autumn Reeser (The O.C.'s Taylor Townsend) was on a few episodes of Entourage. Samaire Armstrong who played Anna on The O.C. also was on some episodes of Entourage. Olivia Wilde (The O.C.'s Alex Kelly) currently plays Thirteen on House. Amanda Righetti (Hailey Nichol on The O.C.) is on The Mentalist. Shailene Woodley (who played the first Kaitlin Cooper on The O.C.) is on the show The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Nicholas Gonzalez (who was Marissa's fling D.J. on The O.C.) is currently playing Detective Rodriguez on Melrose Place. Eric Mabius (who played Dean Hess on a few episodes of The O.C.) is now on Ugly Betty as Daniel Meade.

Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter on Dawson's Creek) now stars on the show Fringe. Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee on Dawson's Creek) has been on Criminal Minds for some episodes. Busy Philipps (Audrey on Dawson's Creek) is one of the stars of Cougar Town (she also guest starred on Entourage for one episode). Oliver Hudson (Eddie on Dawson's Creek) is on Rules of Engagement. Chad Michael Murray (Dawson Creek's Charlie) is on One Tree Hill. Jensen Ackles (C.J on Dawson's Creek) is now on Supernatural.  Bianca Lawson (Nikki on Dawson's Creek) has been on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and The Vampire Diaries.  Brittany Daniel (Eve Whitman on Dawson's Creek) is on The Game which just got picked up for a new season on BET.  Taylor Handley played Patrick on Dawson's Creek and was also on The O.C. as Oliver.

Now do you see why everyone that's been on these three shows is now on like EVERY TV show out there?

why you should see p.o.s. with me

I am in need of a homie to go see P.O.S. with me. He's playing the PacTour on December 12th with Saosin and INNERPARTYSYTEM yet I cannot find someone to go with me. Now I need someone to go with me... I don't wanna go alone, especially to Deep Ellum. Why people felt the need to schedule Christmas parties on this night, I have no idea... but it seems like everyone is going to one that night. I don't have a Christmas party to go to that night. I have P.O.S. to go to that night! That's where you come in. You know you wanna go. You want to experience something amazing. P.O.S. is that something amazing.

Here's the deal. I saw P.O.S. open up for Gym Class Heroes a few years ago. Stefon (Mr. P.O.S. himself) told me this was his first show in the Dallas area. And man he blew me away. After the show, Paige and I met him and he was just the nicest dude ever. So when I saw he was playing Warped Tour 2009, I automatically went out and bought a ticket. But we ran into some problems. Dizzle and I went to Warped Tour, and we went to the stage we thought he was playing. Except we were at the wrong stage. Why they decided it would be cool to have two stages with almost similar names I have no idea. So instead of being up front for P.O.S., we saw Sing It Loud come out on stage. No no no! That is not who we were there to see. We were at the wrong stage! I read it wrong... there was a Hurley stage as well as a Hurley.com stage so we chilled at the wrong stage. In turn, we ended up missing P.O.S. I got to talk to him later when he was chilling at his merch booth, and he said it would be okay because he'd be back soon. He couldn't give me the details, but he said it would be rad because he'd get to play for more than 30 minutes.

Fast forward to now. He'll be here on December 12th like I said. A week before I graduate from UTD (which will be a super graduation party a week early!). But I cannot find anyone to go with me. Okay I've only asked three people --- Dizzle was supposed to go with me, but she has a holiday party to go to (blah I told her we were going... I thought she was going with me... but she made other plans). Ame has a party to go to for her husband's work. And Catrina is working. So... I need to find someone as excited as me to go see P.O.S.

I felt like writing this long blog because I want you guys to know how much it would mean to me if someone would go with me. How much seeing P.O.S. again would mean to me. Hit me up.
