We stayed at the W Hotel in Dallas for my birthday. It was a nice hotel and a nice room, although it was pretty expensive. But that's a given because it is the W Hotel. Anyway, I got there and checked in. The dude at the desk told me I had already paid for the room. He still got my information in case there were charges to the room. He also told me a bill would be sent to my room, and then a finalized bill would be sent within 24 hours of leaving.
I saw my friend Dizzle who went with us a few days after we left the hotel. She told me that she had been charged like $60 extra at the Ghostbar (the bar that is part of the hotel). That made me think to check my shit. Checked it, and I had a $25 charge from the hotel. I had not received a bill in the mail (even though it was like 3 days after we left). The bill I had gotten at the hotel did not have this charge on it. I contacted customer service through their website, and like 2 days later they got back to me stating they were going to forward my e-mail to someone who could send me my bill. I waited. I waited some more.
I contacted them again stating I had not been e-mailed by anyone since they had told me they were forwarding my e-mail. They apologized and told me they would do it again, and I would have a response in 48 hours.
Well I was sent that e-mail on FRIDAY. Let's see... I'm pretty sure it has been more than 48 hours. I'm getting pretty sick of this. I'd call the hotel, but I know if I try talking to someone through the phone, they'll just give me a whole lot of bullshit, and I'll end up screaming at them. And honestly I don't want to scream. I just want this resolved. I don't even know why I have a $25 charge. They won't even tell me that. I just sent one last e-mail saying this is getting frustrating.
I mean I can understand if we drank something there, or ate something, or trashed something in the hotel. But we didn't. We stayed out at the bar all night, and when we came back... we slept. I had a great time at the bar and hotel, but now that this has happened, I really don't think I want to stay there anymore. GREAT customer service.
